Welcome back MVP

MVP, in its less than 3 years in cyberspace, has brought out the best and the worst in some of us.  There was no scarcity of great stories to be told but there was also a high level of scepticism and cynicism.  However, that is not unique to the Magsingalenos. 

As a medium to exchange news, drive a point, or just simply share a light humour, MVP strived to deliver to those stated objectives.  But in the process of doing this, it became apparent that we have yet a lot to learn about how to handle a healthy discourse or how to manage a civil discussion especially on touchy topics that are close to our hearts.

It is MVP’s wish then to bring our sensibilities to a higher plane and not let our destructive side take the better of us.  I enjoin you to be more accepting and respectful of our differences.  Let us focus on our common bonds, not on the things that split us in the middle.  I truly believe that individually, we all care for Magsingal.  We just have different ways of manifesting that.  Let’s learn to work collectively because as the saying goes, “The whole is bigger than the sum of its parts”.
