We had many distinguished guests including Magsingal Association of Northern California officers and members, headed by their president, Mrs. Cecille Ponce Rosario. We had the privilege of being joined by numerous members of the newly chartered Amer-Asian Lions Club headed by led by their president, Mr. Julius Suero. Members and some 'kailians' from the Bay Area and Sacramento graced the night with their presence. What an honor it was for them to have driven all the way to Stockton to show their support. It was just a great feeling seeing everyone, and bonding with all alleviated some feeling of homesickness, especially during this Christmas Season.

MOA Induction of Officers
by Darelle Panlasigui Lu-Revives
Last December 6, 2014, Magsingal Organization of America (MOA) had its Induction of Officers and first ever Christmas Party at Red Orchids Restaurant in Stockton, California. Let me just say, it was quite a success.

MOA's Feeding of the Homeless 2014
by Darelle Lu-Revives
MOA recently hosted its annual Feeding of the Homeless at the St. Mary's Interfaith Dining Hall here in Stockton, CA with great success.
A total of 435 less fortunate people were served at this year's event. They enjoyed a Filipino lunch consisting of lechon, pancit, and lumpia which was supplied by MOA. Rice, green salad, and pastries were supplied by the facility.
We had a great turn out of volunteers this year. It was great to see familiar and new faces come out to help. I personally want to give a special mention to a birthday girl who chose to celebrate her birthday in the most selfless way, Marie Foronda. She volunteered her husband, Jimmy and kids, Jillian and Adam to help us out. Chicken shredding and lumpia frying were taken on by the family.

MOA's Annual Feeding of the Poor
by Darelle Panlasigui Lu
We have accomplished another successful project, our Annual Feeding of the Homeless/Poor at St. Mary's Interfaith Dining here in Stockton!
Thanks to our great team of 27 volunteers from our group alone, we were able to feed almost 400 of our less fortunate citizens a hearty lunch of some of our famous dishes, lechon, lumpia, and pancit.

Message from the MOA Secretary
It's been a few weeks since our grand coronation but I know everyone is still talking about it! It was truly a beautiful night!
We had about 300 guests attend in their more grandeur gowns and suits! The facility was elegantly decorated by none other than MOA's go-to event decorator, Mrs. Estela Rabara. A great dinner was served by the wonderful staff of Hilton Hotel. Great music by the Fusion Band of Stockton echoed through the ballroom. Dancing queens and kings twisted and turned on the dance floor with ease!
Let us not forget the stars of the night, the Royal Court. 2nd Princess, Ariana rocked a deep purple gown that fit her petite stature perfectly! Lea, our 1st Princess, was the lady in dark red, perfect for the Valentine's month. Of course, our Queen, Leyanne. She dazzled us with a white shimmering Cinderella ball gown! She looked great, truly fit for a Queen!

MOA Medical/Dental/Minor Surgical Mission
by Tereso Ugalino
Dear fellow officers, members, town mates and supporters,
A couple of steps and a giant's leap!
Similar to our pilot project we sponsored on Feb. 8, 2008, our 2nd Medical/Dental/Minor Surgical Mission carried out on Feb. 12, 2011 was undeniably a complete success.
Staged at our soon to be refurbished district hospital, 1177 needy patients registered, checked, attended and were cared for. Appropriate medicines for their indicated health concerns/problems were dispensed. Naur-urnos laeng itatta gapu ta nasurok nga 200 medical(non) volunteers including our town's 30 barangay Rural Health Unit's personnel, Knights of Columbus brothers, PNP forces, Councils of Sta. Monica, Bacar, Barbarit and San Lucas actively participated and helped monitor the flow. These groups bolstered the pool of veteran and efficient doctors/dentists/nurses from The Gabriela Silang Provincial Hospital/Other District Hospitals, JCS Team, Magsingal District Hospital staffs and UNP nursing students tapped either by these trio, Dra. Carmeliza Singson-Chairperson, Hon. Jeremias 'Jerry' Singson- Provincial Board and JCS Founder or Dr. Ronald R. Tobias-Hospital-in-Charge. All volunteers effort and humanitarian services were exceptional from 8:30-5:00 p.m. My profound gratitude to all. Kudos!

Magsingal church restroom project
by Tereso Ugalino
Dear fellow members, friends, town mates and supporters,
In financial terms, this is our biggest project thus far. It's half-way done and to be finished next month. The Miss Magsingal Organization of America 2010-13 popularity contest made this project possible including the recent Feeding the Poor/Homeless Project 11-27-10, and forthcoming Medical/Dental/Minor Surgical Mission on Feb. 12, 2011 in our beloved town.
Let's maintain our commitment, dedication, support and generosity to all our organization's endeavor.
Thank you all.
Brotherly yours,
Tereso 'Esong' U. Ugalino
