Warm Greetings of Peace & Prosperity!

This is to update you with the total developments of our upcoming SWI Grand Global Reunion scheduled on April 24, 25 & 26, 2011.

• Batch coordinators started planning last April 11, 2009 & every month thereafter.  All meetings were coordinated with SWI & the President of SWI Alumni Association – Engr Flor Velasquez. These are the highlights of meetings last 2009 to 2010.
• Batch coordinators considered the original schedule of Dec. 2010 taken during the last general assembly but because of clamor for williamites overseas worldwide as well as williamites in the country that on Dec, it is hard to get a vacation & flights as well as travel fares are high,there was a motion to put into vote Dec 2010 & April 2011.  So the final schedule is April 24, 25 & 26, 2011.
• The following are the scheduled activities:
  • April 24 – Easter Sunday
    • 8 AM   -  Eucharistic celebration
    • 9 AM   -  Motorcade
    • 11AM  -  General Assembly (snacks)
    • 12NN  -  Grand Lunch
    • 2 PM   -  Sports competition between students vs parents/teachers/alumni
    • 6 PM   -  Alumni Night
      • Mr. & Ms. SWI Grand Global Reunion 2011
      • Recognition of Silver/Golden/Diamond Jubilarians
      • Recognition of Teachers who exemplified performance/attain SWI’s mission, vision and goals
      • Messages from Grand Reunion coordinators Philippine / USA / Hawaii / Asia / Europe,etc…
      • Messages from President – Alumni Association, Adviser – Grand Global Reunion / SWI Principal
• April 25 – Monday
  • 5 AM   -  Fun Run / Walk for SWI
  • 8 AM   -  Medical / Dental / Minor Surgical Mission to be partnered with Magsingal Association of Northern California/ Vgent group of companies
  • 3 PM   -  Program recognizing the medical / Paramedical people who participated
  • 6 PM   -  Cultural Night c/o SWI
• April 26 – Tuesday
  • Family Picnic (per batch) – Pagsanaan Beach Resort
• April 24 – Sunday
  • Eucharistic Celebration – Chair, Mrs. Aida Garcia
    • Letters to priests who will officiate the mass have been prepared and sent.
    • We have already informed our parish priest of the schedule for church preparation & bench reservation.
    • Misallette preparation is c/o SWI
    • Sponsors for the stipend & other needs have already been initially done – still open for more
    • Readers / offerers – still open
    • Sponsors for church decoration have already been settled c/o Mrs. Garcia
  • Motorcade
    • Letters to the local police for escort assistance has already been prepared & sent.
    • Streamers per batch & banderitas are ready c/o Batch 82.
    • Order of motorcade c/o Thaddeus Udarbe & Schubert Soliven
    • Marshalls – Batch 82
    • Sound system – not yet settled
    • Letters for all alumni are being prepared for them to attend all our activities. We have already prepared  letters to secure permit from adjoining towns Sto. Domingo, San Juan & Cabugao
    • Sponsors for the snacks afte/ during the motorcade still open.

III         General Assembly

• SWI Alumni President has already been informed to prepare  program for this & his message
• We have informed all batches to prepare a yell for their class once their batch is called
• SWI cadets will be responsible for the entry of colors / doxology
• Seating arrangements will be done by the school

IV        Sports activity in the afternoon (Students vs Parents/Teachers & alumni)

• Instant Mr. & Ms. SWI – Mechanics have already been prepared committee to take charge of the program – still open. Maybe you guys can take charge of this.

Medical Mission – Magsingal Association of Northern California, President Nestor Viloria is a graduate of SWI batch 72

• Letters inviting all our graduates whose profession are in the medical and paramedical fields are now being prepared.
• Letters of invitation to Partners has already been sent

April 26

• Family Picnic – Pot Luck on a per batch basis
• Coordination with Pagsanaan Beach Resort done by Ma. Luisa Salvador
• Preparation of the venue to be done by her committee
• Sound system – solved
• Designation of area per batch will be done on a raffle basis
• Games are being thought of to highlight the family picnic- to be chaired by maam Flordelyn Ocillos

Printed Registration to attend our Grand global reunion are now being routed  for local graduates who do not have computer access -being done to determine the number of attendees…

Registration for reunion attendance and for the fun run will also be sent to reunion sites for online registration
Registration for the fun run has already started..registration fee is 50.00

Committees have already been formed per activity but we still need volunteers…Please…The committee will appreciate any suggestion for things we haven’t considered. You are most welcome.

All our activities have been coordinated with the office of the mayor so that activities for the fiesta and our activities will not overlap with each other.

We also inserted the announcement of all our activities in the ongoing seminar for all barangay captains and municipal staff and officials for dissemination.

We also routed pre registration for our medical dental/ minor surgical mission for all barangays to avil of our free medical/dental/minor surgical mission and to determine the number of patients.

This update serves as invitation for all williamite’s to join this Grand Global Reunion planning. This also serves as invitation for everyone to participate all our activities on April 24, 25 & 26, 2011.
