Thanks to our great team of 27 volunteers from our group alone, we were able to feed almost 400 of our less fortunate citizens a hearty lunch of some of our famous dishes, lechon, lumpia, and pancit.
I'd like to take this time to extend my gratitude to our volunteers who were there from 8:00AM-1PM.
Juliet Atanaya-Harris, Rochelle Tolentino, Zeny Timbreza, Dina Foronda, Lani Pangaliman, and Maya Esber.
Our famous lumpia cooked to golden perfection by Vince Esber and separated by none other than Ike Timbreza.
Our pancit was cooked by the best tandem team in feeding history (my opinion may be a bit biased :]) Grace Panlasigui-Lu and Bryan Revives. However, that tandem cooking team couldn't have made their dish if it weren't for the helping hands of our chicken shredders: Matthew Timbreza, Leyanne Pangaliman, Strauss Pangaliman, Jillian Foronda, John Foronda, Dan Foronda, Jestin Foronda, Danica Foronda, my great friends, Michelle Dimasaca, Cristina San Juan, and Catrina San Juan, and a few more volunteers.
We also had our great sandwich makers who would give any Subway employee a run for their money, Kate Foronda (all the way from Oxnard, CA) and Jella Mae.
Thank you to Brian Pangaliman for graciously volunteering to pick up the lechon and for cutting it up with the help of our President, Tereso Ugalino.
There are many more volunteers whom I cannot name, and for that I apologize, but thank you on behalf of MOA.
After this project, our hearts should all be filled with love and gratitude for all our blessings.
